Create a system restore point in Windows 10

Creating a system restore point in Windows is generally a good idea. Sometimes you might feel that your Windows is not working properly or it has started showing some errors after you have done some changes in your Windows Registry without first taking the backup of the registry. In that case, you can also choose to restore your system back to a prior ‘good’ restore point. But for this, you must have the last restore point where you can go. But don’t worry this guide will help you to create a system restore point in Windows 10.

By default, Windows automatically creates a system restore point periodically. It also creates the restore point when Windows detects a major change happening to your system. That includes the installation of Windows Updates, Drivers, or at times Software.

The created restore point represents a stored state of your computer system files and registry settings. If at any time you feel that your Windows is not working properly, you can always restore your system to the restore point. Read – How to recover using System Restore Point in Windows 10?
