How to manage group admins in WhatsApp?

Make a participant an admin

  1. Open your WhatsApp. Go to your group chat, then tap the group subject.
  2. Then tap the More options icon > Group info.
  3. Tap the contact you want to make an admin.
  4. Tap the Make group admin option.

Make multiple participants admins at the same time

  1. Open your WhatsApp. Go to your group chat, then tap the group subject.
  2. Then tap on the More options  icon > Group info.
  3. Tap the Group settings option then tap on Edit group admins.
  4. Check the contacts you want to make admins.
  5. Tap the green checkmark when you’re finished.

Dismiss multiple admins at the same time

  1. Open your WhatsApp. Go to your group chat, then tap the group subject.
  2. Then tap on the More options dots icon > Group info.
  3. Tap the Group settings option then tap on Edit group admins.
  4. Uncheck the contacts you want to dismiss.
  5. Tap the green checkmark when you’re finished.
